6 Stunning Vintage Vocal Harmony Trios

The Andrews Sisters first made this style of music famous... and today the Puppini Sisters have brought the sound kicking and screaming into the present day with by giving modern pop songs the close vocal harmony treatment. But did you know there are lots more rock'n'rollin' ladies doing the do?

Here are just a few of our favourites.

The Glamophones

Hailing from Birmingham, Carrie-Anne, Laura and Kate love a good vocal harmony! As well as singing all over the country they love to entertain their fans with fab videos of them singing in the car and doing some really fun and creative cover versions.

The Spitfire Sisters

The Spitfire Sisters are a three part vocal harmony group hailing from the home of the Supermarine Spitfire on the sunny South Coast. The trio emerged onto the vintage music scene in 2011 and have been steadily building a reputation by recreating the vintage sounds of the ‘30s and ‘40s through nostalgic Andrews Sisters style harmonies. Louisa, Anna and Hannah cover both swinging classics and some old takes on new tunes.

The Hotsie Totsies

Lois, Minnie and Rita are The Hotsie Totsies, an authentic 1940's close harmony trio. No modern day covers here, these gals sing songs from the 1920's right up to wartime 1940's.

Champagne at the Blitz

Caroline, Jen & Sarah make up Champagne at the Blitz; a professional vintage style close harmony trio armed with swinging songs, seamed nylons and slick moves. And lots of red lippy. Don't they look fab in their red floral Peggy skirts?
